Who is Top Shelf ?

Top Shelf, "Highest Vibration Music", was formed in December 2002 in Chico Ca. and has been playing consistently in and around the area ever since. Top Shelf and or its members have opened for a number of well know artists such as Pepper, Mystic Roots, Julian Marley & The Uprising Band, and One Block Radius.

Four players form a melodic mixture of styles combining aggressive rock with flourishing rhythmic reggae and adding heartfelt, inspirational lyrics. In the summer of 2003 Top Shelf recorded a five song, self titled E.P. that got great reviews, and was greatly excepted with thousands of people of all ages.

In 2005 after growing immensely Top Shelf decided to re-locate and re-form with a consistent goal of progression. Two original members, Carter Lane and Drew Nicoll, and Top Shelf's newest edditions, Chad Goodin and Tim Parks, now spearhead this original music revoloution from the North Bay town of Ukiah Ca. Along with the dream of making thier music avalible for the masses to enjoy comes the drive of dedication to that goal.

The goal of Top Shelf has and always will be to bring people together in a positive atmosphere, and in doing so spreading the message of hope, peace and love to the masses.

March 31, 2007 Top Shelf returns to Chico!!! Be sure not to miss the doudle header starting off at Noon on Saturday in the Down Town Chico Plaza. To start the night off right head over to Lost on Main for some PYRX, One Up, Rising Son, Top Shelf reggae action. Don't Miss it!!!

Top Shelf will be hitting the studio in early February to begin working on tracks for their long awaited first full length album! The album will consist of all new Top Shelf material as well as some work in progress and bootleg tracks. In the mean time �Top Shelf Live at The Brewery� will be available in a few short weeks so keep checking back for info on that!

A SOLD OUT audience of over 300 people were at the Ukiah Brewing Company on December 23rd to witness Top Shelf�s Return. The epic night was captured on tape and will be available to you all in early February. Special thanks to the Self Fulfilling Prophecies for coming down and starting off the night with a bang, and to all of the Top Shelf Family for your continued support!
